Advanced-level individual contributor position which is considered a subject matter expert (SME) in field with extensive latitude for independent judgment and conducts highly complex work critical to the business function. Responsible for interpreting business and functional requirements to develop business process management (BPM) solutions which support internal workflow and process improvement goals. Analyze business processes and procedures and document requirements. Ensure delivered code is developed and follows SDLC standards. Document requirements through written specifications. Perform user interviews and other forms of data gathering. May prepare feasibility studies, time and cost estimates. Suggest creative options for business solutions and educate users on capabilities and use of current technology. Schedule projects and evaluate their cost, architecture and impact on the organization. Design needed programs based on the business requirements utilizing relational design principles when appropriate. Design user interfaces (input and output) to computer systems. Document design through technical design specifications. Design and test system prototypes, review and present proposed system solutions for approval. Design application security specifications using OWASP standards. Follow change management processes to resolve application defects or to implement enhancements. Serve as a source of system design technical advice. Develop/code needed applications and programs based on the technical design specifications, using primarily tools such as IBM BPM and Business Process Manager. Work with team members to develop program units that integrate seamlessly into the overall system. Ensure compliance to IT standards by following production, productivity, quality, guidelines. Perform code reviews. Serve as a source of programming technical advice. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues under tight deadlines. Perform applications server administration. Provide after-hours technical production support to meet application service level agreements on rotational basis. Take ownership for issues to reach resolutions to prevent recurrence of solution issues. Monitor industry trends utilizing industry recognized sources, conferences, and user groups. Provide continuous feedback to management regarding changes to the industry and recommendations for improvements. Identify work process improvements and collaborate with staff to research and implement as appropriate. Requires use of C#, MVC, jQuery, AJAX, VB.NET, HTML, XML with a knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, JavaScript and ASP.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
