The General Manager HVAC position is purposed for the leadership, growth and
development of the HVAC departments. This position will provide department
leadership and direction to service manager and staff to ensure efficient asset
utilization, cost control and generation of new business via the sales process. The
General Manager will drive company initiatives and will set accountability goals to
achieve growth and service quality objectives. This position requires exceptional
leadership abilities and business acumen with the drive to effectively manage and
motivate a diverse range of personnel.
Responsibility
- Direct supervision and development of HVAC Manager; indirect supervision of HVAC
technicians, helpers, installers - oversee and direct the staffing, training, and
disciplinary procedures as needed.
- Strategize, develop and implement action plans for growth associated with the
business unit. This includes expansion, acquisition, and other profit driven measures.
- Monitor and analyze expense and operational metrics for planning and performance
takes ownership for service quality and performance efficiency.
- Assist in the budgeting and inventory control process and programs.
- Analyze and direct sales and marketing strategies, activities, and promotions that
drive growth and maintenance within all departments.
- Validate sales strategies and ensure profitability and quality control.
- Reviewing and/or conducting analysis in order to determine customer and market
needs and working to align the organization to properly respond.
- Ensure high-quality customer service - addressing and maintaining contact with
customers to promote sales, solve problems, and determine satisfaction.
Bottom line :

years of experience in an operations leadership in the HVAC Industry or related.
2. Solid leadership, progressive P&L management, and proven employee development
experience.
3. NC State Heating and Air licenses such as H3-1, H2, H1's or able to obtain.
