This is an entry-level/mid-entry level position that does not allow for telecommuting.
Summary: This position will work with technical and non-technical users to understand requirements, will write SQL code (ranging from simple to fairly complex) within the Blackbaud SDK for use in customization, will script and execute SQL to maintain/improve data quality, and will assist in design decisions, code repository maintenance, and unit/quality assurance testing.
Essential Functions:
Assists the senior developer in producing high quality modular code (functions, stored procedures, etc) either as standalone customizations or as part of a larger customization.
Writes SQL for customization/testing and perform bulk data changes (DML) which meet requirements from users. Communicates back to the user and ask questions or provide ideas for additional consideration, engage the user in testing, and report back the results of the bulk change.
Assists the users and senior developer in prototyping or design decisions, to provide support in customization documentation and requirements gathering, to assist in QA and/or unit testing (of customization or DML), to maintain a clean and agile UA code repository and in setting and adhering to UA coding standards.
Writes high-quality modular code using the Blackbaud SDK.
Executes DMLs (bulk data load).
Creates and maintains Customization and DML Documentation.
Tests components for Customization Quality Assurance.
Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Bachelors degree plus one to three years of experience in a related discipline.
Ability to analyze critically, read requirements and ask pointed/well-articulated questions, and think retrospectively are all critical to delivering what is requested.
Strong skills in SQL and data modeling basics.
Naturally inquisitive with ability to reverse engineer complex challenges.
Interest in the collection of, relationships between, and business utilization of data and how this fits into the overall business strategy.
Excellent communication (written and verbal).
Ability to work successfully in team setting.
Ability and willingness to expand knowledge base.
Strong relational skills.
Adept at critical thought: understanding complex problems.
Innovative thought with well-reasoned solutions.
Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
MS SQL 2008, 2012, 2014 SQL Scripting, Stored Procedures and Functions.
Visual Studio 2010, 2012.
VB.NET, HTML, XML.
CRM systems, experience with Blackbaud Enterprise CRM is a plus.
Knowledge of Blackbaud SDK.
Data modeling skills.
Critical thought, particularly around reverse engineering.
Testing skills.
Requirements gathering.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
