F/T Senior Business Intelligence Analyst (Winston-Salem, NC). Assist in the development and delivery of analytical reports to a wide-array of users with varying technological abilities. Utilize the full array of reporting technique options including static, OLAP, and dashboard functionality dependent on customer specifications and abilities. Work closely with BI Architecture and Reporting Managers concerning data organization, transformations, formatting, OLAP, etc. Responsible for coordinating and leading report development and analytical activities with senior corporate management and LOB leadership. Report delivery will incorporate advanced techniques requiring seamless access from user point of contact. Support advanced reporting and decision making through the development and delivery of analytical reports. Design, develop, and execute reporting solutions to create an enhanced experience for business users while providing greater portfolio insight in order to achieve business objectives. Interact with senior management across lines of business to define and implement reporting objectives. Communicate with business users to resolve problems, and establish system and reporting needs/priorities. Partner with LOB analytics groups through frequent communication and the creation of periodic user forums. Ensure information and analytical support for business users is being met in a timely and effective manner. Partner with BI Architecture group and IT to manage reporting environment. Provide leadership and operational direction to analyst ensuring all efforts are consistent with departmental goals. Design and develop user interfaces/applications as it pertains to information delivery and right sizing for access to reports, OLAP cubes and executive dashboards as needed. Develop training material and user documentation as it relates to data and report retrieval. Establish strong working relationship with LOB resources to plan and coordinate the delivery of accurate and consistent analytics, including maintaining existing programs, supervising reporting enhancements as well as tracking and resolving programming/reporting issues. Prioritize and manage ad hoc reporting efforts by providing clear expectations to customer and management. Partner with business and IT resources to develop a consistent and automated method to verify reporting consistency and transparency within company standards. Interact with external vendors as needed to accomplish objectives. Work with: Base SAS & SAS EG, Informatica Power Center, Informatica Data Explorer Unix Scripting, Business Objects, and relational databases IBM DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, SQL via multiple platforms (including Unix and Windows). Must have a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Accounting, Finance or related field. Must have 2 years of experience in job offered or in positions with same duties.
