Our client, a global manufacturer of electrical components has an opening for a Product Development Engineer in the North American Infotainment Engineering Group of our Automotive Division. Looking for a mechanical engineer with Radio Frequency (RF) coaxial cable connector design experience.
Responsibilities for the Product Design Engineer
Facilitate communications between our client and external customers on market demands for current and next generation Radio Frequency (RF) connector designs.
Work with customers to determine requirements, develop, design, and analyze new RF cable applied and printed circuit board products, develop prototypes, oversee testing with focus on performance, quality, timing, and cost targets.
Act as a technical partner and provide support to Infotainment marketing and Customer OEM teams. Attend/support customer meetings and site visits.

Requirements for the Product Design Engineer
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering required, Master's Degree preferred.

years of related experience with terminal and connector technologies and the related manufacturing processes
Knowledge of vehicle architecture with a special focus on coaxial cable connector design
Domestic and International travel may be required.
