Senior Exchange Engineer
We have a unique opportunity for a senior messaging engineer to design a new Exchange & Lync 2013 environment from the ground up as part of an initiative to migrate off of the current messaging platform. The ideal candidate would be a messaging architect with subject matter expertise in the area of Microsoft Exchange & Lync 2013, as well as a solid understanding of Active Directory and VMware. This role would require experience in the architectural design, implementation and support of these technologies. This is a contract to hire position in Greensboro, NC.
Roles and Responsibilities
Provide technical guidance to the business as it relates to scope, design, installation and configuration of Microsoft Lync and Exchange 2013
Provide advanced level expertise relating to Microsoft Lync 2013 and Exchange 2013
Perform architectural designs of Microsoft Lync deployments and document configuration
Design and deploy messaging solutions that provide High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) capabilities
Perform day to day operations around the Exchange & Lync environments, which includes change, release, performance and availability management
Monitor availability and functionality of Exchange & Lync.
Work with other technical teams including network and telephony engineers and vendors, as necessary, to support all messaging and collaboration environments
Identify and recommend future technology upgrades needed by the organization
Responsible for documenting and driving best practices as it applies to the messaging environments
Experience working with Exchange Unified Messaging and/or other UM/UC technologies (e.g., Cisco, Avaya)
Candidate should have prior experience in engineering/scoping, installing, configuring and maintaining Lync Server, Microsoft Exchange, and Windows Server environments
Strong understanding of network protocols that support messaging
Previous experience in designing and implementing core infrastructure environments within enterprise-level organizations
Good awareness of ITIL based standards and principals are a plus
Ability to interact with all levels of an organization in a professional, diplomatic, and tactful manner
Technical Requirements:
3-5
years of experience desired with a proven skill-set and enterprise experience across various Microsoft and related technologies with specific expertise in the following:
Expertise in the Microsoft Communications Technologies (Lync 2013 & Exchange 2013 is a requirement)
Strong understanding of Microsoft and VMware core infrastructures
Expertise in Enterprise Voice a plus, but not required
Windows Server 2008R2 & 2012R2, including clustering technologies
Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy
PowerShell
Experience with hardware-based e-mail security devices (e.g. McAfee Email Gateway)
Experience in server virtualization (VMware)
Working knowledge of Storage Area Networks and Network Attached Storage (e.g. NetApp, EMC)
Working knowledge of enterprise-class backup and replication technologies
Familiarity with 3rd-party load balancers, reverse proxy devices, and SQL Server a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
