Position SummaryThe Director of Senior Living is primarily charged with sourcing, tracking, engaging, and winning construction opportunities with Senior Living Communities throughout Landmark Builders, Inc.
's footprint.
Position Responsibilities Professionally represent Landmark Builders.
Be the industry go-to for Senior Living construction.
Serving as a general market resource for new and existing Landmark customers.
Develop a strong network of contacts within the Senior Living market.
Possess a thorough understanding of Landmark's capabilities.
Participate in volunteer/civic activities to promote Landmark.
Participate in trade organizations to develop a core industry network.
Maintain awareness of current news, trends, and business developments.
Source and track potential construction opportunities in the Senior Living market.
Vet opportunities for viability and fit to ensure the appropriate use of Landmark's resources.
Assist the preconstruction process on your projects to drive the schedule.
Fill in all the gaps as required.
Create a plan for each project and modify it to achieve your objectives.
When applicable, actively participate in the design process/team.
Assist with estimating as required, including preparation of subcontractor bid lists, reviewing subcontract proposals, selecting subcontractors, developing preliminary schedules, and providing input on pricing.
Develop a realistic revenue and profit goal each year.
Manage your client's expectations.
Participate in monthly sales meetings.
Attend internal preconstruction turnover meetings.
Support and attend the preconstruction meeting with the owner, PM, and superintendent.
Visit job sites from time to time.
Work with the marketing director to keep the Landmark brand in front of key audiences.
Coordinate the development of proposals and preparation of interviews, as required.
