Responsibilities:
Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility Demonstrates and promotes the company's vision Demonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration Proactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivity Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration Regular attendance and punctuality Performs routine sample prep and analyses in support of product assessment and quality control on tobacco products utilizing one or more of the following instruments:
RO-TAP Sieves, Filling Capacity, QTM, Flashpoint, Oven Volatiles, Hardness, Balances, or other special purpose equipment and/or multiple wet chemistry techniques and physical testing techniques Documents results accurately in notebooks and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Performs instrument calibration, recognizes errors, identifies root causes, and applies process improvements Assists in updating SOP's as needed Provide analyses support to method validation as needed Adheres to highest quality standards; ensures compliance with quality system requirements Communicates effectively with client staff members Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in a related major) 2 - 4 years of related experience Additional Information Position is full-time, Monday- Friday 8:
