The HR Generalist will be responsible for many facets of HR functionality including recruitment and retention, benefits administration, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and training and development.
The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker who can assist with the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that support the company's goals and objectives.
You will also partner with external vendors for payroll, healthcare insurance, 401K, annual reporting, outside counsel etc.
to ensure consistent application of HR policies, as well as state and federal laws and practices at all company locations.
This is a hybrid on-site/remote position.
This would include 1-2 days per week in a Brock & Scott office and other work performed remotely.
The position allows for a flexible schedule.
Duties/
Responsibilities:
Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, and work assessments.
Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form.
Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
