Job Description:
Champion Industries a division of the ALI Group NA is seeking a technical writer to work in a manufacturing environment creating standard operation procedures, (SOP), and instruction manuals for commercial food service equipment.
This is a full-time, Monday-Friday, 8-5 position.
Salary commensurate with experience.
Qualifications and
Experience:
1 year of experience in technical writing Fluency in English Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Adobe Indesign and Adobe Acrobat Professional Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Basic digital camera skills Familiarity with tools, fasteners, and, electrical wiring Ability to work on the manufacturing floor observing all safety protocols
Responsibilities:
Interview machine assemblers and product engineers Create technical information and other various materials to explain product assembly, and operation Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards Collaborate with fellow technical communicators Manage complex information and multiple projects within content specifications and budget restrictions QA content for errors Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$50,000.
