The successful HR Generalist acts as an employee champion and change agent.
Major Responsibilities/Activities Manages corporate culture consistent with company values through effective working relationships with management, utilization of direct and indirect employee communications, and maintenance of employee handbook and human resources policies and procedures.
Resolves and manages complex employee issues, complaints, and disputes through proper employee relations techniques, performance management and coaching.
Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
Manages the leave, ADA, and workers' compensation programs for the Winston Salem location.
Acts as customer service for our employees, answering questions on all things related to time entry, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.
Manages the onboarding process.
Utilizes feedback processes and surveys to measure culture and staff development and implement strategies to drive company performance through engagement.
Analyzes trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Serves as back up on payroll and benefits administration.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
