7 Full-time 11 hours ago Full Job Description AGACNP or PA-C Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist (WFBMC, ) Hospital Medicine AGACNP or PA-C responsible for completing rounding, admissions, and discharges under supervision of an attending physician.
Due to aICU and open ICU depending on facility, acute care credentials required.
Total shift encounters vary across the system hospitals for rounding or admitting services.
Seven-on, seven-off:
7 am - 7 pm; times may vary at the discretion of section's needs.
Moonlighting opportunities available.
PTO included.
APP's general expectations:
Independently see patients and appropriately manage during their shift.
Including, but not limited to:
Performing assessments and developing appropriate plans Performing perioperative management and pre-op risk assessments for orthopedic/surgical patients Ortho co-management service (Winston) does not cap and APP is responsible for rounding on the patients on consult list and seeing new consults throughout the day until 5 pm.
Completing appropriate and timely documentation Placing necessary orders and following up results Coordinating with Nursing Staff and Case Management Conducting family meetings, if necessary Developing discharge plan when applicable Calling consult services when appropriate Facilitating transfers from ICU Responding to Rapid Responses and CODES for their patients Running the list or Check-In with the respective physicians during shift Providing appropriate hand-off/sign-out at the conclusion of their shift Other duties as assigned As this is an academic hospital system, we encourage and expect APPs to be involved in research, QI projects, committees, or education as opportunities permit.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
