Kimel Park Surgery Center is a fast paced multi-specialty surgery center committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Our center specializes in the surgical procedures:
orthopedics, spine, podiatry, ENT, and ophthalmology.
Assess, instruct and prepare patients prior to surgery Take and record vital statistics of patients to ensure readiness for surgical procedure Initiate IVs and ensure patients are informed about procedure Assess patients' post-operative condition Monitor vital signs and other measurements of progress, meeting discharge criteria Log and chart all findings in patient files Monitor patients for condition changes, reporting any changes to physician Perform intervention duties during post-operative emergencies Who We Are At USPI, we create relationships that create better care.

Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in NC Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing Must have at least 1-3 years' previous experience in PreOP/PACU Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is ideal Must have current BLS certification Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed Must be an excellent team player and have the ability to communicate with staff, patients and physicians.
